Zukunftsprojekt Arbeitswelt 4.0

Hauptstudie zum Zukunftsprojekt Arbeitswelt 4.0 Baden-Württemberg

The aim of the study is to analyse the current state of digital and mobile work in Baden-Württemberg on the basis of current data in order to enable realistic trend descriptions of future developments in the world of New Work in Baden-Württemberg. This is done in order to show options for shaping the future of work. At the same time, the degree of realisation of various digitalization scenarios from the employees' point of view will be shown. The project investigates the effects on work, qualification, employment and participation with regard to five central topic areas of digital and mobile work, which act as design coordinates:

  • Employment and qualification structure
  • Delimitations of work
  • Transformation of work
  • Health and stress
  • Work ability and experience knowledge

The procedure

The Department of Sociology analyzes existing data sets according to country-specific characteristics and estimates the realization of New Work scenarios in Baden-Württemberg from an employee perspective. As part of a sub-contract, the Fraunhofer IAO develops applicable descriptive models for various job profiles. The results will be presented to the public in dialogue forums and at a dialogue conference.

Funding
