EGOS Colloquium 2024  [15.02.24]

The Chair of Sociology presents three papers at the 40th EGOS Colloquium 2024 in Milan!

The renowned EGOS Colloquium will take place this year from 04.07-06.07 at the University of Milan-Biocca under the overall theme "Crossroads for Organizations: Time, Space, and People". The organizers have invited three submitted short papers with the participation of the Chair of Sociology for presentation and discussion on site. In detail, these are:

  • "Organizational paradoxes and resilience - empirical insights from critical infrastructure organizations in Germany" (by Alanis-Ann Krick and Caroline Ruiner)
  • "Labor process as a rat race: truck drivers navigating supply chain vulnerabilities" (by Caroline Ruiner, Sarah Straub, Maria Keil, Matthias Klumpp, Vera Hagemann, Arnd Meiser, Benedikt Severin and Marc Hesenius)
  • "The sequence effect and its impact on cooperation, conflicts, and conflict management in IT freelancer-client relationships" (by Ronny Ehlen, Mona Bassyiouny, Birgit Apitzsch and Lena Schulz)
