Paper from the DFG research project ‘Cooperatives as new labour market organisations for external workers – revitalization of economic democracy?’ (Ruhr University Bochum & University of Hohenheim) presented at the 44th International Labour Process Conference ‘Labour Process at a Time of Transformation’ (22–24 April 2026, Leeds University).Martin Möller (RUB) took part in the 44th International Labour Process Conference with a joint paper from the DFG research project “Cooperatives as new labour market organisations for external workers – revitalization of economic democracy?”. The presentation showcased recent findings on cooperatives of solo self-employed workers in the transport of goods and people: “Democratic organisation of mobility? Cooperatives of self-employed workers in the transport of persons and goods between representative and direct industrial democracy”.
