GIRA annual conference 2025 - Economic Democracy in transition  [11.11.25]

At the annual conference of the German Industrial Relations Association (GIRA) held on October 6-7, 2025, at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, Niels Grote (University of Hohenheim) and Martin Möller (Ruhr University Bochum) gave a presentation on the topic of "Democratic organization of mobility?". The paper was written as part of the DFG research project "Cooperatives as new labor market organizations for external workers - revitalization of economic democracy?" and focused on the empirical study of direct and representative forms of democracy in cooperatives in the taxi and courier industry.
