EGOS 2025 in Athens [06.08.25]

Towards Democratic Labour Market Organisations – Contribution to the EGOS (European Group for Organisational Studies) Colloquium 2025 in Athens

Together with Martin Möller (Ruhr University Bochum), Niels Grote (link to my profile) presented the DFG research project ‘Cooperatives as new labour market organisations for external workers’ (link to the project) at the 41st EGOS Colloquium from 3 to 5 July in Athens with a conceptual paper.

In the sub-theme ‘Reimagining Democracy in Management and Organisation Studies,’ the two presented the working paper ‘Towards Democratic Labour Market Organisations: Developing a Hybrid Model of Membership-Based and Labour Market Intermediaries’ (Möller, Grote, Apitzsch, Ruiner). The annual EGOS colloquiums are an important venue for exchange among researchers in the field of European organisational research.
