The article "Staffing agencies in work relationships with independent contractors" by Caroline Ruiner, Maximiliane Wilkesmann and Birgit Apitzsch has been accepted for publication in Employee Relations.

They investigated the role of agencies in the work relationships of highly-skilled independent contractors. For this purpose, they conducted a mixed-methods study and analyzed qualitative interviews with independent contractors as well as a quantitative-empirical survey of agencies in IT, medicine and film.
