EGOS Conference 2024 in Milan  [15.07.24]

The department of Sociology was represented with three projects at this year's EGOS conference.

The renowned annual conference of the "European Group for Organization Studies" (EGOS) took place in Milan this year with three contributions from the department of Sociology.

Alanis-Ann Krick, Sarah Straub and Ronny Ehlen, representing our team at the conference, presented and discussed the following topics as current work from our research projects:

  • Organizational paradoxes and resilience − empirical insights from critical infrastructure organizations in Germany
  • Tech in supply chains: truck driver's sensemaking of using digital technologies
  • The sequence effect and its impact on cooperation, conflicts, and conflict management in IT freelancer-client relationships

We are grateful for the extensive feedback we received on our work at the conference, which helps us to gain new perspectives and improve our contributions.
