New Project: Cooperatives as New Labor Market Organizations funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) [06.06.24]

We are thrilled to announce the approval of our latest research project "Cooperatives as New Labor Market Organizations for Independent Workers – Revitalizing Economic Democracy?" by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The aim is to theoretically explore and empirically investigate economic democracy in cooperatives as new labor market organizations. The focus is on analyzing new forms of cooperatives in various service sectors characterized by atypical employment, such as care and transportation, as well as medicine and business consulting. This is a collaborative project, closely integrated with Prof. Dr. Birgit Apitzsch from the Ruhr University Bochum. We look forward to the collaboration and the exciting insights it will reveal!
